As a group we are committed to providing a prompt, confidential and expert radiology service. We are able to offer impartial advice and are free from industry sponsorship or competing interests. All examinations will be reported within 48 hours by a GMC registered and fully trained NHS consultant radiologist. A report will be despatched to your GP or Consultant, or both if you wish. More urgent reports can be faxed if necessary. We will provide you with a copy of your examination to take away with you, either as x-ray film or in CD format. All data will be securely stored on site. Access to this data is strictly controlled. We will not divulge the results of your scan or discuss your case with anyone other than your own doctor without your express permission. Occasionally your scan will identify abnormalities that will need to be discussed with another radiologist in our group with specialist expertise in that area. This is standard practice and ensures that all the findings on your scan are evaluated fully and expertly. |
